Scientific Papers Guidelines

  • Each author may submit a maximum of four works for the SINGEP conference, and there will be only three in each modality. For instance, an author may submit three works for the scientific article modality and one for the poster modality.

    Template: The use of the template is mandatory. Files that are forwarded without the template will be automatically disqualified. (Click here to download).

    Language: Portuguese, English, or Spanish

    Text font: Times New Roman, size 12

    Line spacing: single

    Character spacing: normal

    Page limit: 16 pages

    Paper Size: A4

    Margins: Top 3cm / Bottom: 2cm / Left: 3cm / Right 2cm

    Paragraph: Justified Text

    Pagination: Insert the number of pages in the footer with alignment on the right side.

    Notes: They should not be placed in the footer but inserted as endnotes of the text.

    Figures and Tables: All figures and tables must have legends and follow APA standards. Therefore, in the case of figures (tables, graphs, drawings, etc.), the respective captions must be positioned below them, justified on the left, in Times New Roman font, size 10 (ten). In the tables, the captions must be positioned above them, be centered, and have Times New Roman font, size 10 (ten). A summary and examples can be viewed on the ANPAD website by clicking here.

    Citations and bibliographic references: Citations should be inserted in the body of the text, according to the system (author-date), adding the page number when applicable. Bibliographic references should be presented in alphabetical order at the end of the work, according to the American Psychological Association (APA) standard.     Papers that do not meet the characteristics and technical criteria required by X SINGEP will not have their submission accepted.

    One single file must be sent, without identification of authors, without institution, and without e-mail. Works whose authorship is identified will be automatically excluded from the conference.


    The scientific article must contain a minimum of eight (8) and a maximum of sixteen (16) pages, including illustrations, references, and endnotes.

    STRUCTURED SUMMARY (submission page):

    When submitting the article, on the paper submission page (step 1), the Structured Abstract containing:

    Title of the work (in Portuguese): capital letters.

    Title of work (in English): capital letters.

    Abstract: structured abstract of the scientific article includes the following items and must have up to 250 words in its composition:

    Theoretical/methodological contributions

    Social/management contributions

    Keywords: minimum three (3), maximum five (5).

    Abstract: must be registered in the same parameters of the abstract in Portuguese.

    Keywords: must be registered in the same parameters as the keywords in Portuguese.

    * Do not include the structured summary in the PDF, as it will be generated from the system.
