Project management plays a critical role in building more sustainable societies capable of adapting and thriving in a constantly changing world. The evolution of governance practices and the incorporation of digital technologies have reshaped how projects are managed, requiring new organizational, team, and individual competences. The strategic role of the Project Management Office (PMO) in managing projects, portfolios, and programs, as well as in fostering maturity and alignment with institutional objectives, becomes even more relevant in the face of contemporary challenges.

In the public and third sectors, the pursuit of greater efficiency and social impact demands innovative and sustainable approaches. Moreover, Industry 4.0 and 5.0, along with Artificial Intelligence and other emerging technologies, are transforming decision-making processes, while agile and hybrid methodologies enhance project flexibility and adaptability. Sustainability, in turn, emerges as a guiding principle, connecting scientific research in project management with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and strengthening organizations and communities.

In this context, the XIV SINGEP, under the theme “Technologies, Innovation, and People for Sustainable Societies”, invites researchers in the field of Project Management to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and practices, considering the challenges and opportunities of a more digital, sustainable, and human-centered world.

This call seeks studies that explore innovative methodologies and tools, agile and hybrid approaches, as well as effective governance frameworks and strategies for knowledge management and learning in projects. We encourage submissions that analyze the social impact of project management and its contributions to more sustainable and technologically integrated societies, as well as the humanization of project processes and outcomes.

The XIV SINGEP encourages submissions that explore these challenges through diverse methodological approaches, whether empirical or theoretical, involving qualitative and/or quantitative data. We seek research that advances academic knowledge while offering practical contributions for managers and policymakers.

We invite the academic community to engage in this discussion, fostering the exchange of ideas that can drive new perspectives and strategic solutions for the future of organizations and society.
