In a context marked by rapid technological change, socio-environmental transitions, and increasing institutional complexity, understanding the processes of innovation generation, diffusion, and management has become essential for public, private, and third-sector organizations. In this scenario, innovation research plays a central role by providing theoretical foundations, empirical evidence, and analytical tools capable of supporting strategic decision-making and guiding science, technology, and innovation policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This track invites researchers to submit papers that explore the role of emerging technologies (such as Artificial Intelligence, data science, and digital platforms) in innovation processes, as well as studies that examine the relationship between innovation, sustainability, and the tackling of major local and global challenges. In this regard, particular attention is given to approaches that consider the societal impacts of innovation, responsible innovation, social innovation, and solutions aimed at sustainable development, especially in contexts characteristic of the Global South.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Submissions are welcome that investigate innovation from diverse theoretical, epistemological, and methodological perspectives, encompassing both individual and organizational factors that drive innovation, as well as systemic dynamics involving networks, ecosystems, and public policies. We seek contributions that expand the understanding of how organizations and societies develop innovative capabilities and respond to contexts of uncertainty, technological disruption, and structural change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The track encourages the submission of theoretical, empirical, and methodological studies that contribute to advancing the field of Innovation within the Applied Social Sciences. Articles based on a variety of methodological approaches are welcome, including quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods, systematic literature reviews, bibliometric analyses, and theoretical essays that propose new analytical models or research agendas.
